Crowton did not send in a play with the package change. Jefferson had just called a QB draw and was about to call for the ball when Hebert snapped it.

Actually he stated this week in interviews that he decided to just hike the ball due to the issues at Ole Miss. No one else on the offense was ready or knew he was about to snap.

4. responded to sad friend from L.C. who wrote email moaning about the loss. friend thought LSU had lost and turned it off.
Apparently that was common. My housemate apparently also only saw the loss and not the untimed down after the Defensive penalty.

I was screaming at the coaches from my seat during the substitution. When the bad snap happened I just put my hand over my face. As I stood up to walk out I realized something was up. I cheered like crazy when the penalty was announced, and after the touchdown.
