Basically. Potential was there but he didn't look completely comfortable. None of the infield did really. Some of it was likely nerves. Hopefully they'll come together soon enough. We're likely to have a fair bit of shuffling around early on and during midweeks.

Rollins and McDonald were calling him Webb. Does he pronounce it Webb or Webre, (sounds like weber). My great grandmother was a Webre and is was pronounced Weber.

That's because it is. 1st base is by far the easiest position in the infield. However Nick Webre played corner outfield his entire high school career.

It is going to see how everything shapes up for this LSU team. If Nick Webre continues to hit, he will find himself on the field. The question is where.
