Before I leave the thread for a while...check out the "retarded hs" thread on the MSB. Some joker is talking about FG's blocked, ball never crossing the LOS, and it whistled dead. I don't do Fed so I'm not sure what the rule says.

Like you said: Advantage Defense
That's what I don't get.
Why blow him up and shut it down?
It's like being in their huddle and getting the snap count every time. What defense wouldn't want that?
This is EXACTLY what I said to the people around me who were complaining about it.
I admit, the first few times they did it and got away with it, it chapped me off, but then I realized that this was clearly a potential advantage for us.
Then, I remembered who our head coach was...LOL

You're relatively fortunate to be using NCAA rules - in your case there is probably only one rule srt that fans and coaches seek to substitute for the one you use, rather than two.

Just to clarify my vantage point of the OT lining up in the backfield. I noticed it when UF was right in front of me and then after watching the replay, it became obvious that it was not a one time event. You can have your opinion and I can have mine. If I had been the line judge on that side of the field, I would have called it until UF OT made an adjustment, just like Alem was forced to make an adjustment to his lining up offside, which I agree with you guys that was and does it often. Finally, I agree with many on this thread that UF was a better team than LSU and I am ready to move on to the next game.
