I would have Loston spying him all night myself... Him or Tyrann... But honestly we shut him down in my eyes

Hes too big for a DB spy.

man to man defense on the receivers, defensive line will put pressure on the tackles, and let kelvin sheppard clean up everything else like he always does. i'm betting chavis will emphasis swarming the player with the ball, and sure tackling.

I realze how big he is but Tyrann plays like he's 9 feet tall and Loston could easily take his head off

Not too big for Peterson.

Meh, the problem with spying is you don't get to build that steam up to smoke someone with. Your goal is to constantly mirror his actions, and make sure he doesn't run, and if he does minimize his running window. You gotta be able to take him down with very little momentum, thus you need a linebacker.

the key to disrupting any offense is quick penetration on the defensive line. pressure from the dt especially will greatly help us in terms of our fear of sending the house and him scrambling. if at the same time our de's can pressure while having the discipline to keep contain, newton will be in for a long afternoon. don't be suprised if you hear the name nevis more times than usual, which is saying something.

This is how we are going to "STOP" Cam Newton before the night and morning of the game, with LSU's secret weapon: Enjoy!

I heard that we are going to use an equipment manager to hold a shiny new laptop by the line of scrimmage so that Cam never runs past it.
