Head coaches..”skilled”at offense and defense do not exist. That is why coordinators have jobs. If the head coach is down in the details it is an automatic failure

the flip side of this is that it’s terrible that O let things get so bad that he had to fix. We don’t hear of Saban, Dabo, Day, etc having to put out all these fires.

So sure, fixing a mistake is a good thing. But when too many mistakes pile up year after year, it’s fair to ask why?
