Go back and check my receipts, I wanted Kiffin when we got O, no- not with O as OC, I wanted him HC. Then, I wanted him when we got Kelly- weird because I recall getting downvoted to oblivion…
Anywho
My only pause with Kiffin is if he tries to go back to the NFL. Otherwise, I’m as high on him as any other poster. The NFL rumors were as recent as the past 2 years… (including last year with the NY Jets)

First of all, Kiffin is not going to the NFL. That was a miserable failure (part due to organization). I think he knows his place is in college.
Second, I think Kiffin had some growing up to do. Replacing O wouldn't have been a terrible thing, but the rap on him then was he never stayed anywhere. He showed he can build a program and stay for a period now.

I don't think we get Lane now. He is settled in Oxford and living there is nicer than BR. We had our chance and did Kelly instead.
