False

South Carolina? Crowd was definitely jacked.

I got so drunk for Bama that I honestly don't remember much until Jarvis caught that TD.

That's how loud it was. It was so loud that it sobered me up.

OK, I'll give you South Carolina. I'll rephrase: Outside of SC and Bama, the home crowds were listles and unimpressive.

This shite always turns into a joke with the people who bitch about t-bob from Pierre Part being priced out. LSU's tickets are fees are less than the other big time programs in the conference.

The past is always far too romanticized.

And as far as it being louder for big games, well no shite. South Carolina and Alabama this year were both rocking. The crowd at Tiger Stadium is still great. Far better than elsewhere and I've been to a considerable number of stadiums for big games.

Maybe so. But I like the fact that LSU periodically has these "storied games". I've been to quite a few stadiums, and I must say; not many compare to TS. FSU vs UF last year at Doak Campbell rocked the house.

When is the last time the field was rushed? This I miss.

So have I, and historically I would have agreed with your sentiment, but some of the late game attendance last season was downright embarrassing. If I recall correctly, the ESPN crew openly mocked our crowd for its mass exodus during the fourth quarter of a fairly competitive SEC tilt.

Thankfully LSU is no longer in a position that beating great teams warrants rushing the field.

Exactly. Act like you've been there.

..byyyy rushing the field?

I'll be 65 years old and down like James Brown to climb those uprights... or give it my best feeble, old man attempt.
