I thought this was one of those gay simulated games they sometimes do.

I do typically try and stay away anything Holtz.

BTW gotta love no more pep talks!

Actually, it is very easy to figure out why they pay him. First of all, think Notre Dame. ABC has the contract and he is the designated ND homer. Second, when I played basketball, we had a hatchet man on the bench. He was the guy we could put in that we could afford to lose who could go in and play tough and take some fouls to slow down the other team's stud. Well, Lou, as we all know, is NEVER right. That is because, that is his job. He is the hatchet man. He is the devil's advocate. He gets paid (and well, I am sure) to be the one who looks stupid and take the untennable position, for argumen's sake. The problem is, sometimes it is hard to tell if he is just arguing or really believes that crap.

Elmer Fudd a.k.a. Lou Holtz needs to get permission from the nursing home before reporting to ESPN studios.

Pep talk sucks! Worst segment ever.

Look....Holtz is just like Ted Kennedy....he says stupid shite, but he is a necessary force...somebody has to represent the "stupid" point of view, right?

O geez at first I thought it was funny and loyal of him to pick ND every chance he got and pick the underdog ... now its just stupid, plain stupid, Good Lord Lou.

Do you know how bad you have to be for a former Florida QB and reality star is a much better analyst than you, honestly? By the way, I like Palmer think he's one of their best these days, but it's just to say ...

It seems like Mark May is a little tired of his shite and knows that it's bringing down all of their credibility as a whole. May calls him out more so far than all of last season, it seems.

Holtz makes Corso look sane, calm and smart.

When are they going to force this idiot to retire? And why does he have such a grudge against LSU?

Yeah, you must have missed the answer he gave earlier today when asked who he think would win this game and he said this will be his second toughest decision he would have to make that his toughest was getting married then he picks LSU.

It took all his might to give them a truthful answer.

But only to be replaced by "Ask Dr. Lou". That's even worse than the pep talks.

Didn't we go into that Appy State game having played like 9 games in a row?

this is the best lou holtz quote, from last year:

"michigan is so arrogant, they do crossword puzzles in pen cause they think they can never mess up."
