Evans is having a good soph year so for against high school teams. He averaged 8 points per game as a freshman last year. Those were below average stats....... You telling me he is head and shoulders better than Brandon Sampson and Jenkins at this stage..... that's laughable. Blakeney would take that kid to school today. Basketball in the early 90's in Louisiana was stout. The last two years in Louisiana have been average compared to back then.

Laughable at best. Again Blakeney would send him back to st. Michaels and Sampson would be along side saying I told you so. 8 ppg as a freshman. "Cmon man". Average at best.

dude, you are laughable.

You say he only avg 8ppg as a freshman for a loaded team and then say he isnt better than Sampson who only avg 4ppg as a freshman. What point are you trying to make?

Your basketball opinion is biased and weak and you also need to stop downvoting others posts and upvoting your own posts. Its about as sad as your basketball knowledge.

Also, no one is arguing that LA is more talented than it was a decade ago.

we arent really arguing that Blakeney is better than Evans. Just saying that we fricked up by missing Evans. Chill your roll man

just an outspoken idiot who has no idea what he is talking. If someone tells me Sampson is better than Evans RIGHT NOW, I will inform them that they dont follow NCAA basketball.

Ahh nice choice of words Mr. Keyboard warrior. I've seen and coached more talent than you St. Michael boys can comprehend. No one said Sampson was better. They are both Soph. Players. Let their careers play out. Like I said Blakeney would punish your st Michael boy.

this guy here could light it up for reserve Christian . My daughter played high school basketball ( class b) and I would stick around and watch the boys. Anyway Tweety dropped 62 on us. Kid was unreal in high school. I remember going back and forth with some of their fan base, I accused them of recruiting and they didn't like it all.....A small school( class B at the time) with three D1 players...yea ok you don't recruit

Blaine is first class. He and Byron Mouton were a dynamic duo. Both had very good college careers.
