And losing two games and winning a big time Bowl was considered a disappointing season because LSU did not win the SEC and national championship.

LSU underachieved for so many years while many turned a blind eye or flat out refused to admit there was a problem. Barely winning certain games and occasional bad loses was accepted by the higher ups.

Now we have Coach O as head coach and have fallen to 4-5 lose seasons. LSU has nobody to blame except themselves. And I sadly doubt LSU has the leadership to bring LSU back to the elite status. The change needs to start at the very top.

It's time to face the fact that LSU is no longer a elite program. We can easily become elite again but it's going to take some major changes.

LSU is entering a dark period for football coming up in the next several years.

Not really.... That's what has me most depressed (not literally). A program can go to shite very quickly but it takes forever to become elite again. Building it up takes a lot longer than driving it off a cliff.

agreed. Oregeron will get us to 6-8 wins a year and that’s it. The fan base will just get used to it and finally realize we are a mediocre at best program.

I get what you are saying but LSU has the talent in their backyard to compete on a very high level year in and year out. The program just needs the right AD and HC and things can turn around faster than you think. Nothing will change until those two are removed from their position though.

Imagine if someone back in 2009-2012 had posted that, ED ORGERON, would be the Head Coach of LSU in 2016. The O pumpers would have Crucified you! Now, he one of US! BINDERS!!

Remember when we used to beat the living shite out of good teams like Notre Dame, Miami, and Virginia Tech?

People used to fear playing LSU.

And we still have people trying to convince me 10 wins are great and next will be better.

You mean that 8 year period out of the entire history of LSU football?

Not a fan of his, but we had McClendon, Stovall, Archer, Arnsbarger, Dinardo, Hallman....

They did nothing either.

We are not a juggernaut historically.

Yea if LSU doesn’t win the NC every fricking year let’s just keep firing coaches...that will cure all ills... some of you vaginas need to kill yourself if LSU Football is that fricking crucial in your miserable life...
