I think he will run more likely in the 4.3s
I hope he does. But, I'm just going with the facts that are there.
Last spring he ran 4.37 40. But that is at LSU's spring practices and it could be skewed a little bit. And also between the 2009 and 2010 season he put on 10 more lbs.

Realistically I see him running a 4.4-4.5. I think he has 4.3 speed but you have to have a great run to get under a 4.4 at the combine and you only have two chances

i have a hard time coming up with a CB comparison that's in the 220lb range.

Some say Avery may be as good if not better. He has already dominated several camp circuits, so that is a indication he has all the physical ability like his brother and isn't his shadow.

Malcolm Jenkins played CB in college and is now playing Safety in the NFL.
He may go that route if he continues to get bigger.

Jenkins ran like a 4.6 at the combine

Probably about right, I'll be pleasantly surprised to see better. I think other things will help him stand out, shuttles and what not.
Remember how scouts loved how big JaMarcus Russell's hands were? As silly as it sounds, I think Peterson's arm length will come into play as well. It would be tough to construct a better corner from scratch.

No matter what he runs, just watch game tape. He's got on the field 4.3-4.4 speed.

You'd shite yourself if he ran a 4.2
Posted on 2/8/11 at 10:40 pm to tigerclaw10
I'd shite myself if anyone ever runs a 4.2. It has never been done at the combine.
Posted on 2/8/11 at 11:04 pm to lsutigers23
I've always said Antonio Cromartie, same type of athlete.

Yeah, PP7 is definitely a combination of Deion Sanders, Champ Bailey, Charles Woodson, and Ed Reed. I say Ed Reed cause PP7 is so good he's be the best safety in the NFL also.

im anxious to see him play in the nfl.
he's an incredible talent, a great player, and the ultimate playmaker.
that said, objectivly, julio jones whipped him last year one on one.
so it's gonna be fun to see him get coached up at the next level and not rely so much on his athletic ability. coached up right, he should be the best in a couple years.
