I think it's nuts that Carter was in 3rd and 4th down.

It was his turn. The whole year it's like everyone has to play mentality. Why not have the 1 back that has proven he can get skinny and has the fastest burst? Why not do the opposite and run behind Tory Carter? They should have spread that B!tch out and then ran it. Basically anything other than run 2 plays that were as predictable as could be with no lead blocking back.

Hell even run Tory Carter with TDP pushing him from behind.

Meh. We score and win, all it does is put a band aid on Pelini for another few weeks. I'm glad we lost, honestly. Just show what he is, fire him, move on.

If you score 41 points against MIZZOU, and have the ball at the one yard line to end the game, you should be in "mercy kneel" formation. Seriously.

I do not put any of this loss on the offense. Yeah, we didn't run well. We still scored 41 friggin points. That should have been enough to beat that crappy team and that crappy offense TWICE.

The reality of the situation is this game should have never came down to a goal line situation. This falls on Pelini's shoulders because if the defense showed up for just one half we win by 2 touchdowns. The reality is the defense was invisible the entire game and has been for most of the season. It looks like we may catch a break with Florida who had several players test positive for covid, but don't be surprised if USC comes in and beats us too. What makes you think the defense will suddenly appear? If we win, it will come down to us outscoring them which is pathetic!

I don't mind the run-pass decisions. One would expect Tyrion Davis-Price and our offensive line would have been able to get that one yard.

I don't like not throwing into the end-zone on either pass play. Looked a lot like the goal-line stand Auburn had against us last year: we never threw into the end-zone and Auburn saw the 4th down bubble screen coming.
