Never have so many words been spoken and so little said.

The Pick 6 Lee shite ruined him
Right name of Lee but the wrong one. The turning point was IMO signing a great QB in Zach Lee which I saw play a couple of times as a SR at McKinney HS. He had all the tools...strong arm, mobility, quick decision making, didn't stare down his receivers, good size, very smart as he finished 1st or 2nd in his class, and very accurate. One game I watched he was 14 of 15 and threw the other pass away due to coverage. Instead of being a great QB at LSU, the Dodgers threw $5,000,000 at him in a hugely overpaid signing for a guy who had 1 good year in HS baseball. He played the wrong sport after HS but he still got his $5 million.

And say what you want about Bebe but his teams were typically well-coached and always played with great passio

quote:YUP !!. Les had back luck with Perriloux and Lee. Les would have absolutely been Saban's equal if not better had those 2 stuck around. It's a damn shame, things went the way they did for LSU at qb.

quote:Nope. If Les had a competent qb, that timeout situation never happens. Saban wasn't light years ahead of Les. Not even close. QB bad luck did Les in.
Yea, and a few more dumb time mgmt situations too. Ole miss game.
Saban was light years ahead of Les as A genius football Coach.

Clemson spread is going the wrong way. Up to 3.5 in some places
