Let's be honest...does LSU deserve a "top tier" bowl game?
Certainly, fans want that for the program, but do they merit it?
Lost to a very beatable Florida team and looked bad doing it.
Struggled against a shitty Arkansas
Embarrassed by Bama
shite the bed against TAMU (sorry...they played with their nuts in their hand once they took the lead in the 4th)

If the Peach wants a classic sellout game, they’ll pit the two Florida teams against each other. Everybody is sick of Florida v Michigan

No. The ACC does not have an automatic bid. Pitt has absolutely no chance of making a NY6 bowl.

I'm banking on this. It makes the most sense. So what if UCF goes twice?
I wonder what the pecking order is for bowl selections. Or is it the CFP committee that places the NY6 teams?

Yes they do.
ETA: They wouldn’t go to their normally contracted Orange Bowl due to the playoffs, but they would be in the NY6.

Puts Bama in the CFP (duh)
Puts Georgia in the Sugar
Puts Oklahoma in the CFP
Puts Texas in the Sugar
Does little to #LSU's bowl prospects.
Tigers still need Clemson/Ohio State to avoid upsets tonight to get in Peach or Fiesta.

Can someone confirm the Pitt situation. My understanding was if Pitt won they still wouldn't make a NY6 bowl.
