Sorry rantards, he does. He should have gotten it after the best season we ever had last year plus getting us into the BCSCG. This year was so damn close to us being there it's pure denial to say that a guy who hasn't had a raise in four years and gave us three years like we've had doesn't deserve a raise.
Are we a top tier program or not? 3 years of top ten rankings says yes. Well guess what.. That costs money and it starts with the coach. And we've got a good one.

Name the coach that would walk into this job after the best coach in our history was fired for not being good enough *it's the same thing* and be able to pull off what he has.

If he is using this as leverage let him go. And lets see if LSU made Les Miles or if Les Miles made LSU. Les does not need another cent from LSU

Miles isn't being fired, and there would be a huge list of coaches willing to come coach at LSU, one of the premiere jobs in the nation.
He got an extension out of his flirtation with Michigan last year. At some point the administration will stop being pushed with his flirtations and stop making counter offers and/or extensions.
