He has been pretty good with the clock. The only issue he had was the first Bama game when they didn't call a timeout during our best drive in the 2nd half, got a penalty on 3rd down and short and then had to pass and never got close to scoring again as we had to punt in Bama territory.

Name another

We had awful clock management in that 2012 bowl game against Clemson. Hill was averaging over 10 ypc and with time running out, we dedided to pass 3 straight times (all incompletions), Clemson got it back, scored and won the bowl game. Many teams have time management issues - we just had more big ones than almost all the other teams.

This is just remembering what you want to remember at its finest.

1st down: 8 yard pass by Mett
2nd down: rollout by Mett. Misses a wide open Landry.
3rd down: dropback batted down by Clemson. Clemson showed a run blitz and dropped into coverage. Just a better defensive play

You can't have it both ways that Miles was "2 yards and a cloud of dust" and he needed to be fired, but also when he DIDN'T do that and it failed, he is also at fault. The defense choked in that game and that's how it goes.

What? Haha. Sorry, three straight passes with two incompletions and a punt with time running out when we had an RB with over 100 yards averaging 10+ ypc. Yes, the three passes were genius, I'm sorry.

No we really didint. Its fake news my friend. Its amazing to me that this narrative followed Miles all the way to the end.

The Clemson bowl game is another major reach. Play calling vs time mgt hum I guess one can use anything to further their agenda.
We couldnt run the ball and we had Mett Beckham and Jarvis. Most of the rant wanted Miles to throw vs running in a stacked box, so he does in a bowl game and now his time mgt is to blame. BTW, what yr was that again?
