Have you become dulled to the pain of following LSU football?

Think about other similar moments and how you felt. I remember when Chavis said he was leaving and feeling really pissed when we hired Steele. Then feeling underwhelmed at the head coach search fiasco.
At this point, what is even the point of caring. This program has fallen so far out of relevance that we are going to have a TE coach running the offense and we’re all just going to shrug and hope for 8-9 wins.

To feel pain over sports is the stupidest thing on earth.

I stopped caring after the way Alleva handled the firing of Miles for two seasons. Consequently, I didn’t spend a dollar on LSU football this year. Thanks Joe.

Have had season tickets since I turned 18 back in 1996. If Ensminger is hired as OC, I am done and not renewing

It’s a curse to be a Tiger fan: sporadic success. Almost a higher tier level of winning, but not quite. A person should accept LSU sports for what it is and not expect too much.

You pouting?

Got that lower lip stuck out?

Chin trembling?

Holding your Paddington Bear real tight?

Got that reliable security blanket handy?

Haven't felt the same since the whooping in the '11 title game in Jan 2012. I used to get extremely excited and almost giddy about LSU Football. Those days are over. Too many arse-whoopins at the hands of Sabama I reckon.

After the coaching search last year I lost some of the concern about the program. Orgeron didn’t do terrible this year but the OC situation is not a good look. Eventually LSU will get serious about winning big in football again but that will likely need a change in the admin and leadership of the school as well.

LOL, you have no idea how far LSU football can fall. Try 2and 9 and not winning a SEC game ! I sat through that chit !

I can honestly say I have never had pain from following LSU football. I enjoy watching LSU football and the only pain is when the season ends and there’s 8 months until the next game. If it ever causes pain, I would imagine it was time to find a new past time?

I try to believe that the Rant is NOT indicative to real LSU fans. I could be wrong, but I'd like to believe that real fans aren't the giant box of vaginas that fill these forums.

I think that an adult that loves LSU and LSU sports would support them especially when things don't go the way YOU want. An adult handles the good and the bad without throwing a tantrum. An adult understands that there are no guarantees. An adult understands that the program does not exist to satisfy him. LSU will be here long after your little hissy fit fade.
Spend your money as you see fit.
You will not be missed.
Forever LSU.

on the contrary, LSU football has been more fun since the firing of Miles. oh, to be sure tdhere have been disappointments but the football itself has been more fun.

many fans don't seem to care about what happens on the field any longer. no one wants to talk about Notre Dame and that game; they just want to melt about Canada and O.

this might be one of the best bowl games of the year. if both teams come to play, it promises great excitement. and just think, if we barely lose coach O can be hung in effigy. yahoo
