Easily his best outing in terms of location. He's always had a big arm but didn't command it. If he locates his fastball like last night and can mix in an offspeed pitch around the zone, he will help us alot.

There was a little girl
who had a little curl
right in the middle of her forehead
and when she was good
she was very very good
but when she was bad she was horrid!

But when he’s bad, he’s terrible. Remember, he gave up 4 runs
in 2 innings last week against Ole Miss. He has great stuff, but
no consistency at all
Maybe he'll be more consistent as a closer where he's not expected to overthink things and instead bring lot's of heat and throw a lot of strikes.

Peterson has been very inconsistent. He’s had nice outings before, but he hasn’t been able to string them together. CPM will certainly give him the opportunity.

That’s the problem with this staff; besides Hess and Hilliard, Bush had been the only consistent reliever, and he badly blew Friday night’s game.

This team is badly missing a consistent Gilbert. He and Hess were basically all we brought back from last year.

Peterson's arm looked live as hell in person. He touched 95 and it looked even harder than that.

If so, it would be a huge change in our prospects.

Peterson did well last night. I'm not convinced he's going to be consistent (he hasn't been in any other role), but I'd give him the ball moving forward.

The problem is that we can't consistently get to the ninth. The first guy out of the bullpen has been blown up over the last few weeks.

Haha. Thanks. I’ve totally airballed this season. Just about nothing has played out like I thought. Very hopeful the guys can play a few really solid weeks and make things fun. Can’t wait to get out there today.

That's cause you are a homer and we aren't very good.

I'd bet your analysis was on point last year.
