About his perception of the team's ability, status, or even comparisons to UF right now?

He will not compare this team to UF or any other team.
That would be a mistake.
this team has its on character and attributes. No good can come of comparing them to another team

Well, has he even been interviewed lately about how well the team is doing? Or if he's happy with the progress?

I talked to him at a Gridiron event. He is very excited to be here, he is an intense coach much like saban, he demands precision. He only really has 1 returning started in Terrance Tolliver but I expect he is the best of the 3 new hires from a coaching standpoint. His time with Urban Meyer was well spent he learned a lot and will be an OC soon, like real soon. He is the best young coach on our staff by far!
