Yall need to go ahead and accept there will be multiple false starts and plenty of blown blocks in game 1. Will it cost them enough to lose? Who knows

Our coaches who coached, watched and are with Chester and Echols everyday know less about how Chester and Echols looked in practice than you do.
It kinda looks like that sometimes. Maybe our coaches can’t see the forest for the trees. It happens more than you realize.

Here's what they are saying:
- the depth chart isn't set yet
- the players are very talented at every position
- they are consistently winning 1 on 1 drills
- they need to cut down on mistakes and gell together as a cohesive unit.
You're making my point! We don't know who is starting two weeks away from a nationally televised game against a very talented team in Clemson.
Very talented? They're getting whipped during every scrimmage!
Winning one-on-one battles? Against who? The practice dummies? Every scrimmage has been about the DL dominating and Weeks and Perkins living in the backfield.
I do agree they need to cut down on mistakes and come together as a unit, but how do you do that when you don't have a starting five named?
Listen, I love LSU and I'm pulling for them to win it all, but when all you hear about is the OL getting ripped apart by a defense that hasn't been very good in a few years, you got to face some realities!

Yes guard play. Very important. If we don't get push from the guards in the run game, we don't really have much of a run game.
My biggest fear is the OL can't open holes for us to run and it all falls on Nuss. I love Nuss, but he's not a runner, which means he's going to have to get rid of the ball very quickly and that has a pick-6 written all over it! Nuss is very talented, but he can't carry us all season!

Let's chat after the 3rd game. My bet is the OL will be fine. That supposedly terrible 2024 OL allowed Nuss to pass for over 4000 yards. We played to our strength which was passing. Let's see how it looks at the beginning of the 4th game.

Our OC talked good about them

Excellent point. Though …. I’ll need to see it in the first game. This OL, and this team, need to have it together enough to beat Clemson in the season opener.

I love the optimism, but we may be 0-3 at that point, out of the SEC race and the CFP picture. Our OL is getting ripped apart by a defense that was below average last year and that's not good. Some will say that there's a lot of new defensive players, which is true, but the OL has a lot of new faces also and they're going the opposite direction. In the SEC, an average or below average OL in the SEC pretty much guarantees you will be living in the cellar with MSU, Vandy and Oklahoma.

Did Kelly say anything positive about the Offensive Line ??
Aaaaah…..
“They looked good in their pressed uniforms”

He spoke positively about them today, which you would know if you actually paid attention and knew what the hell you were talking about.

Son, I can quote to you exactly what Kelly said about the Offensive Line.
He said .. he “thought they would be very good”.
But.. he didn’t say WHEN he thought they would be very good.
Clemson is in 2 weeks !
You are a Complete Loser !!
You challenged me on another thread and your AZZ was KICKED !!
You been hiding on this thread I see !!

Congrats. You cherry picked a quote that someone else posted here without any context and are trying to spin some bullshite narrative using it. If you actually watched the press conference, which you clearly didn’t, you would know that wasn’t what Kelly was getting at. Well, you should, but you probably still wouldn’t get it.
Kelly dropped that quote at the end of his first part of his answer on the OL question, talking about his familiarity with offensive lines and experience coaching high draft picks. There was nothing about any of that or how it was delivered that expressed any reservations about right now.
In fact, in the very next statement, he said “We don’t have a Will Campbell. He was the 5th pick in the Draft. But we have five guys who play very well together…” No future tense. No equivocation. Today.
Then he ended that comment with “and it starts with the Center,” and went on to strongly praise Moore and how he’s making the OL better.
Moore “sets up the rest of the group for success.” Not in 3 weeks. Right now.
Summarizing the rest, Kelly was clear that having a Center who is playing at a high level and getting the line into the right calls helps you get the overall group to an elite level (his words, not mine).
“if you have a Center who can set the stage for that, it allows everything else to fall into place, and it’s starting to fall into place quite nicely.” Again- today. Already happening. Not down the road.
The question in this thread was “Have LSU Coaches said anything positive about the new OL.” The answer is clear, whether you can see it or not. Likely not.
It doesn’t surprise me that you would latch onto a quote that wasn’t even close to Kelly’s main point about this year’s offensive line. Anyone paying attention knows it was him talking about what separates this year’s OL from last year’s- an experienced Center who can make the right calls up front and lead the OL. We saw how not having that held back the potential of a group with 4 NFL-level players last year.
As for the rest of your rambling bullshite, you couldn’t kick shite you ridiculous clown motherfricker. You didn’t have shite in the other thread and you don’t here, either.
Delusional and casual is quite a combo, but you pull them both off. If you are trying to challenge Semjase for the worst poster here, you are well on your way.

Guy… I think you’re on drugs.
I quoted from Kelly’s press conference because I LISTENED to the press conference !!
You must be Retarded !!
I see what you’re doing…you say no one knows what they are talking about and everyone stole comments from someone else.
The truth… you’re a 12 year old who doesn’t know how to respond to anyone.
You’re in Denial…
You must be a Democrat !!!
Hahahahaha

Our defense is very likely going to prove themselves to be elite.

I agree with you on the defensive side.
They will shock people !!

So you have no quotes, facts, or new information to back up anything you say (just like every other post you make), you can’t refute any of what I posted because it came straight out of Kelly’s mouth, and now you’re trying to deflect. Very badly. It’s really fricking embarrassing.
There are plenty of people here who know what they’re talking about. Yes, It’s a sea of shite a lot of the time thanks to idiots and trolls like you, but there are islands of sanity.
Have an RA for Alter just to see if the Admins are paying attention tonight. Now I’ve got a feeling you’re someone’s shite stirring trash account here to waste people’s time.

I have given you quotes.., but you refuse to acknowledge them. What are you… taking meds or something ??
You are getting embarrassed because you are a whiny poster who can’t respond to anyone addressing your weak posts.
That’s not anyone else’s fault but your own.
Why don’t you just call your mother while you’re at it.
What a Loser !!!
