They aren't.

Hatch WILL BE THE STARTER on Saturday (which I predicted about a month before the spring game).

And what did you base that on?

did you watch the Alabama game? See: 2nd quarter. Flynn was "servicable"

Personal evaluation of practices and media reporting.

In other words, both my eyes and ears.

You?

Then apparently a lot has changed since a month before the Spring game.

media reporting

Means absolutely nothing since they basically only see 10 minutes of warmups every day.

The scrimmage last weekend.

Hatch will be the starter against App State because of a couple of issues with Lee which couldn't have been predicted a month before the Spring game. Neither issue has anything to do with Hatch being the better QB, or more mature QB, or better game manager than Lee either.

Sounds REMARKABLY similar to what was said about Jacob Hester last year.

People were just convinced that K-Dub was better.

If Lee is THAT much better, then why has NOBODY said anything about it. Only rantards.

I never mentioned anything about Hester, and I agreed with him being the starter, so I'm not sure what that has to do with the Hatch/Lee debate.

What did you see in Hatch that convinces you he is better than Lee?

If Hatch is better, why hasn't anyone said anything about it? Because the staff doesn't say shite about anything.

Mobility is the first thing that stands out about Hatch. I think Hatch is a better decision maker at this stage, as well.

I think Lee will be a good (but not great) QB, I just think Jefferson will pass him on the depth chart before he gets a chance to prove himself.

Or because they are all a push. . .as I stated earlier.

There was no evidence to support that last week. In fact, it looked the exact opposite. Perhaps he was having a bad day.

I would agree with that, and that much is better than what Hatch can give us.

I think Lee and Jefferson, barring injury, will both get more snaps than Hatch by the end of the year. Lee will be the Flynn, and Jefferson will be the Perrilloux.

Just like Russell and Flynn were a push, right?

When have you seen Miles do that during a season?

He tends to stick with whoever he chooses from camp. I say that he will stick with one starter, since we saw from the Vols in 05 what a QB controversy can create.

You are assuming that since Hatch will start next week it means he has beaten out Lee.

Only in the minds of a couple rantards.

That was NEVER a prevailing opinion, only for a few fringe loons.

99.99% of LSU fans knew that Russell was far greater than Flynn. It's just that the .01% happen to post on this board.

Are you trying to insinuate that Lee is better than Hatch, by the same amount that Russell was better than Flynn?

If you are, then you can go join the .01%

But according to Miles it was close, and he never named the starter. Read the Dubois article from this morning for a refresher.

No, only pointing out that if Miles didn't announce Russell as the starter in camp he surely isn't going to announce Hatch or Lee either....thus proving my original point that the "staff doesn't say shite about anything".

That is correct, based on what I've seen and based on Lee's other issues (injury, etc).

If Hatch is the "starter" and has clearly beaten out Lee, then Lee will only see action in mop up duty next week, correct? Since Miles likes to stick with the guy that won the job in camp?

Everyone knew that was hype.

We had all already seen both play.

The starter on Saturday will be the starter.
