The guy was a Biletnikoff Award finalist and we can't figure out a way to get him the ball.

It seems he may have been a product of the TT system.

What do you expect? They brought in a guy that’s a playmaker on quick slants and screens and then they don’t throw any quick slants and screens.

Is he more of a product of the TT system or the LSU system?

Todd Monken’s offense that would have made him the winner.

Well, he would obviously have more receptions and yards in a pass-happy offense like that, but the dude did torch OU, Okie St. and West Virginia who all finished ranked. So we know he has the talent to catch it and get yards if the right plays/routes are called. Southeastern doesn't have OU. Okie St. or WV talent.

I honestly don't get it. It doesn't matter how hard the line is struggling, you should be able to take a one step drop and throw a slant

You can. Matt Flynn said the same thing the other day. They can. It’s the coaches never calling it for last however many freaking years

I love products of system players. If it works, who cares? That's the NFL's problem to later deal with. The problem is our system requires you to be a NFL level player, just to have any success in it.

Ensminger has a play sheet but only uses the same 6 plays from it. I guess that what O refers to when he says the offense will be “multiple”. Apparently that means multiple three and outs.
