...released the information that he wouldn't be returning in order to cause this whole fiasco? What better way could he stick it to the admin and boosters than potentially rupturing any possibility of obtaining their preferred candidate? He could have easily forseen he'd be painted as "the victim" by the media during all this... Just a thought.

Maybe he's letting his wife coach next year and he'll stay home taking the kids to and from school.

Nothing is an impossibility, particularly after the con game that he and his agent pulled with the Arkansas story in 2012.

Its not Miles, Its Bass, his agent

The same guy that came up with the huge buyout. He told Miles that he would be able to stay until he retired, because no one would raise the money to send him packing. That allowed Miles to shoot for 10 wins seasons, and pretty much coast home

Bass was wrong about the buyout, and hes wrong about rallying fans to Miles side. Even the MilesaTigers are saying we needa a change

You suggested that Miles released the info, now it's his agent? Which is it?

In starting to think the same thing. Miles it outplaying Alleva in this either way, Miles wins and the only way Alleva wins is by Jimbo Fisher coming to LSU.

If Miles stays, Alleva needs to be fired or resign due to his mishandling of this.
