Obviously looks badass on tv, wondering if any of yous have been there.

Not that impressed on TV since the playing field looks the same as most fields.

Went there last month for Saints/Cowboys. It was pretty awesome. Great sight lines and of course the big arse TV.

Been there for arky-A&M just over a year ago and Saints for Thanksgiving.
Neat stadium as a whole, but unless you're in the lower bowl, not a good FOOTBALL-WATCHING venue.
Yes, the toilets are nice, concessions have good selection and you feel fancy being there, but sightlines aren't very good and it's more like a mall and douche-bar.
I sat in the 200-level for the college game and those seats were okaybut set back a ways. For the Saints game, had a 300-level silver club seat (face was 340$). Like sitting in a fancy version of the 600 level in the dome.
Everyone should see it once, but I have no plans to return.

Yes (Texas A&M v. Arkansas).
Overrated.

That tv is more of a distraction than anything else. I prefer to go to a game and watch the field.

Cotton Bowl at 7 at Jerryworld or Cotton Bowl at 10am at the Cotton Bowl?

Took the kids to a monster truck show there. Unbelievable was my first thought. Pretty awesome but that TV is too dang big.

everything is nice. I went to the Saints/Cowboys game - just WOW! Huge TVs everywhere, nice big bathrooms, consessions everywhere - so you can focus on the game and not the breaks. It's all entertainment.

watching a game there on tv is annoying because every sideline shot shows guys looking skyward like they're praying or something. they actual watch the friggin' game on the huge overhead screen.

Went there for the Paul McCartney show 2 summers ago when it first opened. Very nice, but does not compare to TS.

you'll be impressed for about 30 min. otherwise you pay a lot to go watch a big TV.

Went to the U2/Muse show there a year ago. The best thing about the stadium, IMO, is the ease of entry and exit. The TV is impressive, but it can be a distraction from the event. I want to see a football game there.

LSU fans/alums are going to shoot their wad at the Cotton Bowl and then wont have the finances or desire to go back and watch the Chavis "Bend but don't break-soft zone-no pressure" defense (Playing their first game without Peterson, Sheppard and Nevis) make an attempt to slow down the Oregon offense.
Consolation. If we get ZM and he can take over the QB position, maybe it will be a 51-50 game in our favor................

Oregon is certainly deserving of their ranking, and IMO is one of the Top2 teams in the country, but one would be blind to totally discount their schedule and the POSSIBILITY that they have built up a lofty ranking and record on a schedule certainly lacking in quality and depth...
New Mexico Won 72-0
at Tennessee Won 48-13
Portland State Won 69-0
at Arizona State Won 42-31
Stanford Won 52-31
at Washington State Won 43-23
UCLA Won 60-13
at USC Won 53-32
Washington Won 53-16
at California Won 15-13
Arizona Won 48-29
at Oregon State Won 37-20
Compare that schedule with what Auburn has faced this year, and it's laughable.

I had never taken a close look at that schedule and of course the ESPN idiots don't talk about it. Not very impressive.

I've been to quite a few different types of events there (football, basketball, and boxing).
There isn't a bad seat in the house for football...i watched last years big 12 game from the VERY last row and it was still pretty good.
All the events were done very well, plenty of parking all over the place for cheap if you're willing to walk a few blocks, and it really doesn't take that long to get out of the stadium.
Traffic in/out though can kinda suck.
