Has a 1 loss SEC team ever been kept out of a BCS bowl?

Just sayin....
We'll probably lose to Bama and Arky but I think those games will be close - we might just be able to pull it off. Really depends on whether the defense can play good - or play spectacularly - since we know the offense will be flat.
If Aub goes undefeated and wins the SEC CG and LSU is one loss, we'd be a lock for a BCS bowl. Whoever the SEC CG loser is will have at least 3 losses.

If we win out we would probably go to sugar bowl or.something like that

Not sure off the top of my head. I do know that Mizzou lost only one game a couple of years ago and didn't go to a BCS game. They were ranked #1 in the country going in to the Big 12 Championship game and lost and still didn't go to a BCS game. So it can happen.

If we actually win out, we will be in the Sugar or Orange etc. No doubt.

IF we win out probably Sugar Bowl

IF we win out and of course that is a big if, we will make a BCS bowl. The last two years the SEC at large in the BCS has been the loser of the SECCG. Assuming the west representer wins I couldn't see any of the east teams being selected to a BCS at large so therefore the team that finishes 2nd in the west could make a BCS bowl game.

lets say LSU wins out and auburn goes to the sec championship game but loses on November 26th and December 4th. What bowl would lsu go to?

I'd say Capital One or Gator Bowl

Me personally I think two SEC schools might play in a BCS bowl game.

I beleive so to but I dont see an East team making it to a BCS bowl unless they win the SECCG. So right now I would say if the team representing the West wins then the team that finished 2nd in the West can make a BCS bowl unless the team from the East wins the SECCG then they get the automatic bid and the team representing the West gets the at large bid.

If LSU and AU win out, Aubie will play for a NC and LSU will go to the Sugar to play Boise or TCU

The only way an east team makes it to a BCS bowl game is if they win the SEC Championship Game. The west team with the best record at the time will probably be selected to fill another slot in a BCS game.

just a fwiw, neither LSU nor Auburn will win out. Auburn being ranked #1 this early will be their downfall.

Yeah but that's Big 12, and in the objectively weaker division
One scenario that might lock us out is if Auburn goes to SEC CG undefeated and loses to SC - then you have a 2 loss SEC champion and a 1 loss SEC West champ, hard to keep either of those two out - and correct me if I'm wrong but there is a max of 2 BCS bowls per conference?

As long as their are 2 SEC teams with 1 or 0 losses, there will be 2 SEC teams in BCS bowls

No, but a 2 loss SEC West champion team got shafted in 2005 and didn't play a NY's Day game even though teams they beat - Florida, Auburn, Arkansas and Bama all played on New Year's Day.

the OP asked about 1 loss SEC teams, not Mizzou.
If LSU wins the rest of its games, it will host the Sugar Bowl
IF Auburn is invited to the BCS champ game.
So, we may have to root for Auburn to beat Bama.
