I actually do. He lives in the northern suburbs of Houston. Beautiful country club home. I have played golf with him 5-10 times just out on the course. Very nice guy

Had to love ole, Harvey. That was classic.

Gets like a 50-yard touchdown when he's a freshman vs Rice and somebody like Buddy Songy asks him, "How did it feel to break off a long run like that?"

He says, "Long? When I say long I mean like 90 yards,"

Yea, the guy was a quote machine. Remember when he'd been arrested, or at least questioned about, choking his girlfriend and he did a choking gesture on TV during a game? Classic.

He is actually one I would like to forget. Only good game he ever really had he blew his knee out. He required astroturf and he didn't see that at all.

A friend of mine that played with him told me something I will never forget...his first year with the raiders he had to take a paycut from what he made at LSU....

Always liked Harvey. I remember him as the next big time rb since dalton

IIRC, the Texas Aggies had him penciled him as a signee, and when he picked LSU, they went apeshit!

He has been reincarnated as Richard Murphy

They have the exact same build and running style.

He might have been the first guy to pull the hat trick that day at a high school near College Station.

That had never really happened to LSU since Janzen Jackson pulled it last year.

How about his brother Darryl? I had heard he got shot a couple years back. I thought he was running Harvey's farm in Missouri or something.

I was working in Tiger Land the night Harvey’s wife caught him on a date and he ended up strangling her. He was calm at the bar but apparently not so much at home.

I remember as a kid when we lived in Kansas City we went to eat at a restaurant he owned. Dont remember the name but it was louisiana Seafood. Anyway this was when he played for the Chiefs. I think I was wearing some LSU gear and he was in there managing the place last night and we got him to come to the table. He must have sat there for 30 minutes talking about LSU and signing autographs. He was a cool cat.
