Coleman is the only player that causes disruption (outside of Alem) on the defense.

A few of the defensive starters were talking about not knowing where to lineup, not knowing the coverages, and not knowing the gap assignments. General confusion. This was before the South Carolina game. They didn't know how to approach their position coach about the concerns and were discussing the best course of action.

BTW... anyone noticed the scheme essentially removes the WLB from the field, Luke Sanders the past couple of years and Kelvin this year?

You might be right about Coleman and Sheppard, but completely wrong about Jai, he's been great this year, as has Hawkins

Coleman's side?

I was unaware of this.

Didn't we blitz on the play mentioned?

I'm going find that play before I go to sleep.

I'll be back.

Totally. Look at how many players have been called out here? They are not all that bad. Something is wrong, and it's the dual co.....well, you know. These kids are lacking even the basics. Not sure what brainwashing occurred in August, but it's not getting better.

I agree that it's coaching, but to fix the problem. Send a message to the team. I never started an arguement to say that harry coleman was terrible. I just think his means of tackling are unacceptable.

They may be running the same defense as the past but the DCs have failed in teaching the execution.

Taylor commits to the run first and overshoots the play from the left side, then tries to catch up arriving at Moreno simultaneously with Coleman from the right side.

They both miss the tackle, but from my vantage point in the SE upper, I only saw Taylor get up from on top of Coleman.

They really fricked up that play.

That's all I can stomach to watch tonight.

we kept these 2 tools as coordinators so that the players would stay with the system they already knew and they look way more lost than when pelini was here. Its a weak system and even shittier coaching on the execution. The system has been in place for 4 years now and they still dont know what to do. The scheme sucks and the coaches suck at coaching it. Its the coaches fault, not the players

I didn't think we would miss Chevis Jackson, Jonathan Zenon and Craig Steltz as much going into the season

Big mistake there.

Several times during the game Coleman was in position to make a tackle and instead of wraping up and taking down the ball carrier, he lowers his shoulder and goes for the big hit

no-one said a word when our leading skull crackers over the past 4 years did the same thing, and in all honesty COLEMAN was the only tiger that came to play in the flo game....

NEWS FLASH - the entire D has been piling up the mistakes...WAIT I KNOW LETS PLAY ALL THE SECOND STRINGERS...that'll teach them a lesson AND help our winning streak
