Last year if you remember his excuse was that recruiting rankings don’t matter he gets guys he likes and now this year it’s everybody cheats and I do it the right way. Lol and people refuse to see him for what he is.

What is that? The guy that just landed a top 5 class?

What is he? Go ahead and post it.

Timeout, you’ve been telling me for weeks that class rankings don’t matter, that it didn’t matter that Miles classes were ranked higher because he didn’t address needs. Now when 0 does the same thing we’re supposed to bow down to a lower ranked class anyway? Dude why do you do this shite just to protect this guy? He’s selling you shite on a plate and calling it prime rib and you’re actually buying this crap. Why? Not trying to argue I’m honestly curious.

We failed to pull another big time DL. That's about the size of it.

We got all the blue chipperd we wanted in La. with one exception, and it's the end of the world.

He absolutely did! Now how long does he have to accomplish something worthy of note with all that talent before you think he should be let go?

That's harsh, bro. It's a top 10 finish in the polls and a top 5 recruiting class. I don't buy into the "trending up" idea because it's only one good season. But, we just had a good season followed up by a damn good class. It's nowhere near shite on a plate IMO.

He's selling me nothing

Haven't heard a word he's said since the season ended.

The class average is 90.75. That's a damn good class

His excuses are and that’s what I’m talking about. Don’t cry and make excuses for whiffing on guys, don’t throw everyone els under the bus when you lose. Have you ever heard him say “this ones one me” after a game or “I need to do better” which is what 95% of other coaches do? No he’s never said that he’s always blaming players, coaches, assistants, other coaches cheat in recruiting and he doesn’t. He’s never taken responsibility for anything negative and he never shields his players.

I'm sorry, but I just can't get on board with final poll rankings when the regular season record is the same and the conference record declined.

LSU went 10-3, finished 3rd in the west and 4th in the conference. The top 5 recruiting class, ironically, is 4th in the conference. I'm not dogging the recruiting class either - there are a lot of good commits. I'm just saying that this isn't some spectacular accomplishment compared to what has been the norm here for quite some time.

The only difference between this and 2015 is that a.) this year had a better final AP poll ranking and b.) Miles finished with a better recruiting class, and that was by all means considered to be crap - as he nearly got fired that year.

Waiting on you to tell me how long Orgeron should have to win something worth note with all this talent he’s bringing in.

There really is no difference, the overall and SEC records and standing was the same. 2015 had a tougher schedule and the AP poll difference has more to do with other teams and us beating ranked teams who ended up being terrible. The post season AP really doesn’t mean anything it’s a decoration, it doesn’t win you anything and doesn’t put you in position to win anything.

I look at like this, we all said the 2017 schedule was the worst in as long as we could remember and the '18 schedule was much tougher. I realize it wasn't as hard as people were making it out to me, but IMO the two seasons aren't the same. Is it spectacular or elite? Not all I don't think. But, it's a good season to build on for next season.
