The Spirit of the LSU Tigers will not be left to the weak or the timid

I think if more LSU fans would catch a few meets they would see how outstanding this team is, and how entertaining they are.

I'm not sure, I thought she'd be doing bars tonight. She looked great at Gym 101.
She looked rather rough at 101. The beginning and middle of her bar routine was nice but she barely got over on her kip cast with grip change into the dismount. She was lucky to land that dismount on her feet and they said her warmup was really rough.
I think she needed a break after the Olympic season and she came to LSU really late since the Olympics were going on when classes were getting underway. That meant she joined and met the girls late, missed out on the pre-season workouts and stuff even though she was obviously in great shape for the Olympics. She probably needed to step back and regroup and take a break both physically and mentally. I am sure she will be back in the lineup soon, specifically on bars. However, she can be used on all the events.
We need her on bars badly, Gnat is awesome but she is not good on bars and that dismount is hideous. That routine would be lucky to go 9.7 in the post-season.
Kelly's FX was sick. That upgraded tumbling and one of the easiest full-ins ever as her 2nd pass! I hope she gets in the vault lineup soon since she has a 10 SV vault.
I would like to see Priessman in the vault lineup with a 10 SV vault but out of the FX lineup. She is way too injury prone. It has nothing to do with her landing on her head, that is just an endurance issue but it probably also has to do with the limited amount of full routines she can train due to those ankles. Just stick to vault and bars. She can be used as backup on beam and floor. Finnegan has a gorgeous FX and it is super clean with a DLO now. I would use her but in the past she has shown that she struggled to hit 4 for 4 so I think DD decided to use her on 3 events to take some pressure off. They should give it a try early in the season and see how she does, though.
Hambrick's vault is just amazing. I don't know if she should bother upgrading because she can stick that vault every time. It is a 9.9 guarantee if she sticks because of her great form. I don't know if her 1.5 would be as consistent but hopefully we get a peak at it soon. The judges do seem to forgive hops on those harder vaults, look at Ewing's score for a low landing with a step back (9.875) which was only .050 lower than Hambrick which means the judges took the exact same amount of deductions. Figure that out. Edit: Never mind, Ewing had .1 more in deductions but still, .1 for a lot more errors doesn't add up.

Don't forget Shae being back in the floor lineup.... She has such pretty lines and it's so elegant and her dance.... It's really great to see her break back into the lineup

Yes, I love her in the lineup. She reminds me so much of Courville. Last season she could not land that Rudi as her final pass so this season they changed it around to a 1 1/2 punch layout and she handles it with ease. She just needs more time on that double arabian. She held it too long this week and over-rotated but covered very well. She does that skill exactly like Courville, too.
