Those stats are NOT what they seem to be... It doesn't matter what team you play.. IF you want to talk stats go with TOTALS against ALL teams they played in the SEC...

Here you go...

PPG LSU = #5 26.5 PPG
YPG 402 = #6
YPC = 5.6 #1
YPG passing173 YPG = 11
CONF % = 11
YPP rank = #6.

This is such a weak argument. All sec schedules arent even. Lsu had to play the #1 and #7 defenses in cfb while bama played #37 and #23. Thats why you dont just use sec games. Youre trying to use qualifiers to HELP your argument.

Ive never met a lsu fan that puts as much energy into shitting on lsu football as you.

I dont care what you say.
Lsu finished 4th in the sec in offensive yards per game.
THATS A FACT.
Deal with it.

They gained more yards per game than Bama, FSU and Ohio state.

Now please tell me how lsu racked up against shite teams and ohio state and fsu didnt.
Your opinion doesnt outweigh facts and it never will. Youre a crap lsu fan.

I am NOT using anything.... Just PURE stats involving ALL games in the SEC........ I don't care where anyone finished in the final stats.. They DON'T matter.. Its when they PLAYED that counts I guess......... BUT AGAIN... The FINAL SCORE is ALL That counts... If you don't agree with that then I can't help you..........

Lsu finished 4th in the sec in offensive yards per game and 3rd offensive points per game. Deal with it.

You havent provided any link proving otherwise.

Also someone that cant admit that playing the #37 and 23rd defense is easier on an offense and helps in yards per game over playing the #1 and #7 defenses in cfb is a retard. But hey im talkong to a guy that doesnt know what an individual record is.

Im done little dude.

Phil Steele... He has been spot on with stats for the last 15 years...... But YOU go ahead and PICK whatever site YOU want to help your agenda.. AGAIN....

BOTTOM LINE is the FINAL SCORE OF EACH GAME...

BAMA 30 LSU 16
Arkie 31 LSU 17
Ole Miss 38 LSU17

THOSE are FACTS....

Still better than a zillion carries for 30 yards.

At least scored a TD and got in fg range via the pass.. (when the game was still close) also got a nice couple pass interference first downs as well. So that was nice.. and better than constantly running into that front 7.

Harris made some good throws in this game, some not so good.. but we actually did move the ball via air better than on the ground.. but whatever.. how dare anyone question it.

Go rewatch the game on youtube. Watch how we continued to run right into a wall.. and at times the pass still picked us up a first down. A couple of other effective plays were some zone reads I believe.

It's not about trying to run a mixture of run or pass.. it's about attacking a team's weaknesses.. or at least not playing right into their strength. Some games are justified running all over an inferior team.. however, against Bama, it was pretty awful.

Fournette averaged 1.6 yards per play.. he did have a late meaningless TD I believe?

31 yards on 19 carries.. um, okay. great idea.

Harris through the air avg 6.7 yards.
Harris on the ground avg 4 yards per play

As a team we avg 2.1 yards on the ground. A total of 54 yards..

The receivers avg 21.3 yards per reception I believe.

No one said dont question it.
We tried throwing . Harris went 6-19 with one of the receptions being a prayer he threw up for grabs.
After he got hurt it was clear he wasnt the same.
So if youre the head coach do you give the ball to best rb in cfb and hope he can make a play or do you hand the ball to your hurt 1st year starting qb that has been struggling the entire game and he has been running for his life?
Stop acting like we didnt try throwing the ball. We did.

everyone knows we should've established the pass vs bama.
You can complain ab # of plays run, but LSU was 1/2 a play under 50% on called passes (audibles not includede), 22 pass including sacks/PI in 45 plays run and surely groin altered playcalls IMO.
LSU got beat in the trenches and doubt a little different playcalling would've helped, especially with Harris struggles in short game.
