Miles inherited a recruiting class were saban had stopped recruiting. So much so that our 2005 clas had 13 recruits.

You seriously believe that is why there were only 13 tecruits? Exactly how many spots did LSU have to give? It wasn't 25.

I keep seeing this about the OL yet people who get paid to judge these things and use stats rated the OL line #1... However, a board dedicated to LSU rates them as poor.

The OL is judged by the rant, unfairly, solely for the Bama game. But there is not a single OL in college football that could successfully run LSUs archaic scheme against a Bama defense. It can't happen. No team can run straight at that front 7. But every single year, LSU tries. And fails. And then blames the OL for "not executing" or "playing like pussies".

What is the article based on? LSU has had top recruiting classes every year. I think that LSU has the talent that any team would want.

I agree LSU has sufficient talent to win big. But I think the NFL roster thing is a little overrated bc LSU talent has been heavy on RBs WRs DBs. LSU lacks LBs QBs OL.

Your post is on point. Blows my mind how the same posters who (rightfully) bitch about Miles' dinosaur offensive scheme will turn around and blame the OL when it fails against Bama every year.

And Saban inherited more talent in 2000 than Miles did in 2005. The football program today is in far better shape than it was when Les got here.

Not sure why people feel the need to rip on what Saban accomplished here in order to build up what Miles did.

Well we actually only had 8 commits when Les was hired.

Les first full cycle as coach saw the most fertile recruiting ground ravaged by a hurricane. LA was down for years, like not til 2011 was it back.

A lot of y'all are seriously being dishonest.
