Between HeartofGeauxld and Colts Tigers LSU should never lose a game in history of College Football. The players will win every award and they will start creating new awards just for the players who can not win them.

Dude, all I'm doing is telling Lester why I don't think it was a good article. I haven't said anything about the quality of any players.

Flynn was the in the LSU system for 4 years dude. The only reason he didnt play earlier was because of Russell, who happened to be pretty good

Bradford looked the best against Florida compared to every other SEC QB that faced Florida (including Snead at Ole Miss).

you mean the same snead who lead the rebels to a victory against florida?

He says nothing about what Jefferson is lacking

he's probably going on the reasoning that most Soph QB's are not ready to play.

Dude, 95% of the people covering LSU would say Jefferson isn't proven. You can't be serious there.

They would say he is unproven, off course. But that same 95% are eternally optimistic.

You can sense it in any article they write.

And if you think 95% think that, then why are you getting your panties in a bunch over this article? It should be the norm if 95% of the people agree with him.

which was better suited for the way he played anyway

and it really wasnt much different than what Jimbo was doing.

finally, if you dont think those 4 years were extremely valuable to his development, then i dont know what to tell you. I know he was white and all, but shite, come on dude.

and for him to say that jefferson is "barely a step up" from lee is laughable.

This is why ppl say you're up JJs arse. I was just paraphrasing GG. His exact quotes that led me to state that JJ is barely a step up?
quote:

Yes, Jordan Jefferson looks better than Jarrett Lee, but, again, it would be hard not to be

LSU can win with Jefferson, but, please,

Lee, could end up beating him out later this season

There is not “Stability at Last” at the position

But in 2010, it could all change again. LSU could have its third new, underclassman starting quarterback in three years. That’s not healthy or stable.

Do you think his quotes lead one to believe that JJ is much better than JLee, or barely a step up?

TheDoc, Snead didn't lead the team to victory over Florida. The defense led the Rebs to victory over Florida. Everybody knows OU is going to win it all next year on a more neutral field. Hell, Florida was struggling in their own back yard.

Did JJ manage that game perfectly, in a similar fashion to Flynn's management against Miami in that same situation...absolutely

Give credit where credit is due. That doesn't mean he is the savior or that he is guaranteed to be an all-american, but it certainly points to a bright future and anyone saying otherwise is just trying to flame.

We had a MONTH to prepare for that game DEFENSIVELY. TEHY WERE 1 Demensional. We scored one TD in the second half. Our D was Lights out stopping the run. We also Scored 38 on GA. Had JL not threw the 2 pick 6's we win, EXCEPT for the Fact we got behind LATE in teh THIRD EVEN WITH the first pick 6. WE STUNK on D>

well of course they were. i'm not saying that.

but it was his first year under crowton, and flynn himself told me how much different the offense was.

Not sure where you get the eternal optimism for. I sense much more optimism in the defense than the QB play, which I don't totally agree with either.

My panties are in a wad bc I don't think it's a good article. He doesn't expand on his points, he doesn't say what he thinks Jefferson is lacking. You cannot say that a guy may not be the starting QB next season, and then not expand on it. That is bad writing, and fans deserve better than that IMO.

and Flynn was unproven at that time too. What's your point. Didn't say JJ wouldn't be good, just that we don't know yet. I guess that makes Guilbeau racist.
