Mike would get a new costume, too! Everybody wins.

Hey, what do you think about putting Trindon at DE? With his speed, he'd be an absolute BEAST off the edge!

2) Yes, he is very critical of the tigers. Instead of writing on how bad the QB's are going to be he could write an article on how much improved the defense will be. ON very few occasions has he offered up a good article on LSU that doesn't speak bad about them. I understand the whole "Gumdrops" or whatever the f*ck that other guy who posted on here but god damn, if you are paid to write about a team couldn't you atleast write some positives for said team, instead of being so negative all the time. I have never heard of a beat writer for any team where i read his articles and come out thinking he hates the team more than liking them

Guilbeau is miserable but the Advocate pretty much does its share of puff pieces on LSU.

Trindon at DE he would be a beast, you are correct in that. I think you could book him for 15+ sacks if that were to happen.

I think Al Woods should be our fullback on Goal Line attempts kind of like The Fridge.

Maybe Tolliver at CB if our young secondary struggles a bit also, I mean Clayton was able to do it.

If it were up to me PP would never leave the field. Offense/Defense/Special Teams and he would call plays for both sides. Best. Player. Ever.

I have a friend close to one of the team's equipment managers. He said that she said that JJ is going to be better than Tebow THIS YEAR!

I hear that Jefferson is so fast and mobile for a QB in practice he is throwing ball 20 yards straight in air, catching it himself, and running it for a touchdown.

I agree on Peterson, he should never leave field along with LaFell, Scott, and Chad Jones. The team would go 14-0 easy if they each played 100% of snaps.

Articles from Louisiana papers that criticize the Tigers get more web hits than puff pieces. Guillbeau has figured that out, and it's become his m.o. I'll bet his paper loves him for it.

That said, this particular article is probably accurate. Is he really going out on a limb by predicting that we won't win a championship?

Jefferson may end up being very good. He has showed promise. But remember this. The kid has started all of TWO games, and one of them was against a bad Arkansas team. The other was against a good ACC team, which is not that much.

It doesn't get much realer than that. I completely agree with GG on this.

Looks like GG has been ripping off thoughts from my posts. How about we let JJ play a few SEC games before we annoint him god-like status as some of the geek squad have already done.....

I don't have an issue with him pointing out that LSU will once again be weak at the QB position. This would have never been an issue is RP could have kept himself in check. Lee, JJ, Hatch - none should have played more than a few snaps last year in a backup roll. If RP would have come back for a RS senior season it would not have been an issue this year either.

It is factual, but that doesn't mean it is good. It's no different than anyone on here could have written.

Then he provides one liners like LSU could have a new QB in 2010, and Jefferson is no Booty or Flynn, but provides no reasoning behind those zingers. Which basically, makes it a terrible article.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I saw this coming. I hate to be negative, but I remember Les Miles and his errors at broke Okie State, and he is going to be the death of this program. Only a fool would avoid recruiting better QB's during the RP blunders. He should have known better, but he is Les Miles.

WTF are you talking about? The best QB I can think of that Miles didn't land during those years was Chris Smelley. Are you really complaining over that shat?

Jefferson was one of the top QB prospects in the country the year he came out, and Lee came out a year where the QBs were weak.

I don't think any Tiger fans are pulling against Jordon Jefferson and wanting him to fail.

no, its a very good, unbiased look at our QB position.

i think its pretty obvious what he means by both. Booty was All SEC, Flynn was a guy who had been in the system for years before he took over.
