Their stadium has an entire 4,000 people going to games. They have a long history of success, and their fans are extremely knowledgable hardcore baseball fans.

Let's see...no way Tenn can outbid LSU on the coach they want. LSU will give Vitello whatever he wants financially to come here not to mention whatever he wants to build the program up. Compare traditions and program worth when it comes to baseball and athletics. Yeah. I can't imagine why he'd go to LSU over Tenn. It's not like he'd have to rebuild LSU. He could come in immediately and win.

I don’t think he would come. He defiantly would lead LSU on to maximize his money and demands from Tenn. it will make his fan base love him even more. Meanwhile coaches like Godwin will not want to be a backup plan and recommit to where they are as this drags on.
