I hear ya, but I just meant he's being relatively mature compared to other victims I've seen, such as the Shady's "victim" who was a shameless opportunist.
And the bottom line is, no matter what was said, it still doesn't excuse Hill's behavior IMO. The kid still ended up in the hospital. I'd say that's a pretty good wakeup call for him as to the error of his ways
The legal system played out the way it would have for anyone else here, and Hill is going to get his arse worn out before and after practice, which will mean he'll have plenty more time to think about the error of his ways than he already has as well.
He also has an additional two years of probation hanging over his head, which is no small matter at all. Having already violated the judge's probation once, he will not want to go back in front of her for another violation.
Miles handled this well. I wouldn't have flipped out if he had gone the other way either, but I don't see ANY coach in the country doing anything differently than Miles did here. Literally none.
