5 hits through 5 innings with 2 runs. You would think they are right in the game with those numbers.
But the rant tells you we can't hit (despite being top 3 in most hitting categories in the SEC) so you start a thread bitching about the hitting to fit in. And you ignore the 6 runs on 10 hits Kentucky has.
The bats have struggled at some points this season, but to blame it on the bats in this game is pure stupidity.

Did I say that?
Our hitting is not able to keep up in these type games. It was obvious from the outset that we were going to have to score a lot of runs in this game but we can't do it. We're not facing a particularly good pitching staff today, either. If you think LSU is a great hitting team, you're really not very observant.

Ask them to post both the SEC ONLY hitting and pitching stats.
Then ask them to post situational hitting stats throwing out the highs and lows for the SEC only.

Dude not many teams at all can score runs at this pace on a regular bases. Just because our pitching struggled doesnt mean our bats will automatically churn out a ton of hits and runs. 5 runs with Poche pitching should be enough to do it 8 times out of 10.
I never said our hitting is amazing, but this thread was started to shite on our hitting, when that's clearly not the problem today.
And there are a few games this year where we won strictly because of our bats...so don't act like just bc someone scores a lot we have zero chance of winning.

Why don't you do it to prove your point? You say this like somebody has the time to sit there and do this, because I doubt those stats are readily available.
