That's the problem. The defense laid an egg because they're expected to pick up all the slack because the offense needs a semi-miracle to get to double digits against Bama. Russilo was talking about when he was on the sideline and when Bama scored before half to make it 16-0, a LSU defensive great standing next to him said " Game over". How many other people had that exact thought too? If it's game over when the opposition gets up two scores with half the game left, the offense is the one laying the egg.

Fans who shite on players like Greedy are the reason they are right.

That may be true, but most knowledgeable ( non sunshine pumpers) LSU fans are frustrated that the administration doesn't get it. We won't be competitive with Alabama until the offense changes and such comments will be well received.

It’s a bad look. He didn’t need to say what he did. This is a hard concept. It’s funny, people on here get bent out of shape when a coach answers a question that runs people the wrong way. But a player who just quit on the team throws half the team under the bus, totally fine.

Greedy won't go down as one of my favorite tigers. The past week made me not like him that much. Doesn't seem like he cares about LSU that much

It's ok for fans to say things like this, but for a player to speak on this, publicly, shows lack of character. I guess Greedy forgot he gave up the very first Touchdown against Bama! Not mad about him skipping the bowl, but damn dont shite on you Offense or OC because you're leaving.

There never was this fabled “loyalty” that you all are pining for. Back then, there were no huge signing bonuses for 1st and 2nd round draft pics. Most players had to have a second job on top of the NFL. The incentive has changed, not the players.
