TM7. At no time did i say he wasnt.
So he's the best in lsu at forcing turnovers, the most important thing a defensive player can do, but is eliminated from the best player conversation, because you feel forcing fumbles is meaningless and random.
Brilliant logic

Without him against BOTH ARKIE and UGA.. LSU most likely losses
Agreed. Never said otherwise.

Team accomplishment.
But hey weve already established that you have no clue what an individual record is in cfb.

At no time did i ever say FF fumbles or turnovers in games were meaningless.
I said ff stats are meaningless compared to main lsu stats.
Thats what 1 meant.

Great players, no doubt. Marshall was diagnosed with CTE in 2013.

FF STAT ompared to rushing yards in a season or tds in a season.

I took your title to mean all athletics. I would add:
60s - Pete Maravich
90s - Shaq
2000 - Seimone Augustus
60s - Pete Maravich
90s - Shaq
2000 - Seimone Augustus

My post from earlier...
I was clearly comparing the stats and what imo were more prestigious.
quote:
Because no one considers forced fumbles as a stat that elevates players when comparing. Ff are also subjective as frick when they are given to players. Who leads the nfl in career forced fumbles? Dont act like you know.
You know who leads the nfl in career rushing.
I will amend my statement for you.
As much as i love tm7 he doesnt own Ny lsu records that are meaningful in my eyes. Tackles, ints, tfl, sacks. Better?
I was clearly comparing the stats and what imo were more prestigious.

If anything, your argument about forced fumbles actually hurts you in this situation, which is why I asked you to tell me which of his forced fumbles shouldn't be attributed to him.

I was not saying he didnt deserve ff.
I was clearly comparing the more prestigious stat.
Thats it.
In no way did i ever say ff and turnovers in a game are meaningless.

yes they are.
Did you really just say that facts are subjective?
You either nees to learn the definition of subjective or learn what makes a statement a fact.
In no way are stats subjective.

1656 as A freshman with 16 td's...As usual..you are wrong.........

and as usual you have no fricking clue what youre talking about. Hilliard never had 16 rushing tds in a season.

No, you clearly eliminated him, because, by your own words, he didn't hold any lsu records (which was false). Then you proceeded to idiotically diminish arguably the most impressive record in lsu history
Furthermore, it completely ignores the possibility of each position to impact the record books.
But you said yourself that TM7 was the best in lsu history at forcing turnovers. Sounds like a pretty damn important thing to be the best at.
We'll just ignore the other aspects of his game. He was great in a ridiculous amount of categories which is almost unheard of for his position.

You are getting owned in this thread. Holy shite man. Take a break

Sounds pretty subjective.....
And one got a player selected as a Heisman finalist, sounds pretty prestigious......

I'm going lineman in 1990's I'll let the Rant pick between Kevin Mawae or Alan Faneca. Look at Faulks production the year after Faneca went pro.

What? Lf had the 2nd most rushing yards per game in sec history.
I place rushing yards over ff as a stat.

LF is the best rb in lsu history.

there is a db this year with 6 ff. but hey.

Sounds pretty subjective.
Of course it is. Picking which player is better that dont play the same position, is always subjective.
TM7 is my 4th favorite tiger of all time behind Faulk, LF, reed, tm7.

Did he do it back to back years?
How many interceptions, TDs, TFL, sacks, tackles, etc?
Did you even read what I posted?
