Right, 61 wins come cause of talent and 17 L's come cause of coaching.

If only football or life was as black and white as some want to make it.

One would think after the most successful 6 year period under the same coach in LSU history, some would catch on to the fact that without both talent and coaching we are Top 10 in wins nationally for the last 6 years.

We might not have great coaching, but to say it's "inept" only showcases your own lack of understanding as to what it takes to excell in the SEC.

Good season -- Yes

Great Season -- NO

Like or not, this program has set the standard for great as something higher than a 3rd place finish in the SEC West. Regardless of record, great seasons include a championship (SEC or beyond). Don't give me the I remember the 90's crap because this is not the same program that we had in the 90's. We have upgraded facilities, expectations, and yes prices. Comparing this program to the 90's is apples to oranges. While this may have been a good season, it was certainly not a great season. To declare a 3rd Place finish (regardless of record) a GREAT SEASON is a slap in the face for the players that worked hard to take this program to the next level. What is next, are we going to storm the field and tear down the goalpost everytime we defeat a top 10 team?
