Just saw that Henry Thomas has the 4th most sacks from the DT position in NFL history (93.5). The three guys in front of him are now all in the Hall of Fame. Could Henry be next?

Danielle Hunter has almost that many sacks. But from the DE position, obviously.

Henry Thomas had one of the greatest / stealthiest careers for. DT ever. Dude was great but for little attention for it

Henry lives in Houston off of FM 1960 and owns car wash facilities.

You talking about Henry "Too Tuff" Thomas who played at LSU in the mid 80's?

I used to shoot pool with the big guy while at LSU.

Pretty impressive. He also had the leading role in E.T.

I checked Henry Thomas in a 3 on 3 basketball game in the gym armory during his freshman year. I was 6’ 2” and Henry was definitely shorter than me, and he was fat. I had no idea he was on the football team.

I figured I had a mismatch and he’d never be able to guard me. I was shocked at his athletic ability. He could outjump me by a lot, and I was a decent jumper. Not only could he outjump me, but he was also so wide that I could not get near the ball. He was also as nice a guy as I ever played against.

We played about four games in a row, and when we were done I asked him about himself, and he told me he was a nose guard on the team. Well, Ramsey Dardar and Greg Bowser were both seniors, so there was going to be a big gap to fill, but I didn’t think a guy that short could actually play for LSU. He wasn’t above 6’ 1” at the time. I figured he was a walkon and practice fodder. He turned out to be damn good.
