You know Bianco doesn't have near the resources and brand behind him like LSU.

He's been there 18 years.

Bianco

What has he done to let you know he would win championships here? Please explain.

In your book you explained earlier all you did was shite on Mainieri. You didn’t explain what Bianco has done to show you he can win championships.

Sheek, I appreciate you actually responding unlike most posters who just leave threads when questioned.

Look, I thing Bianco is a pretty good coach...but what? He has been at Ole miss for almost 2 decades. He has built alot of that program into what it is, but he has plenty of resources. I think you are too close to the situation at LSU and don't pay attention to other schools.

quote:

When LSU has golden opportunities to prove LSU is the still at least a shadow of the standard.. Maineiri has failed miserably.
So we should fire him and hire a coach who has brought his team to 5 super regionals (3 of which his team hosted) and only made it to Omaha from there one of those 5 times? And that one time he made it to Omaha and went 1-2 while there? Dont forget he also won the SEC with LSU in 2009....how did he not make it to Omaha with that team? Pretty shitty postseason coaching I guess.
quote:

Do you want me to remind you how that 57-11 Overall, 23-7 in the SEC team ended their season?

Bianco's team's best record in conference is 20-10 in 2009....do you know how that season ended for them?

quote:

Nola is the GOAT SEC pitcher.. You had Bregman. Both studs in MLB. That was a natty team. Get to Omaha and shite the bed.
Yeah it really sucked that Bregman booted that ball in the UCLA game and cost them a shot at the national title.

quote:

Only managed to get 2 runs the whole fricking CWS
We only played 2 games....and it was 3 runs, not 2.

quote:

SEC Champs 19-11 in league play but couldn't get out of our own Super Regional... piss poor
Cool, wanna know how many times I can say this about Bianco teams? You sure that's who you want coaching LSU?

quote:

LSU got bounced out of his own Super by a school that's about the size of McNeese

Ole miss hosted a regional in 2004 and lost to Western kentucky and washington 2 and q at home. PM would be lynched for that, his teams have never done that. 3 years ago...Bianco's team hosted another regional, guess what they went 2 and q in that regional losing to Tulane and Utah, pretty shitty.

quote:

How in the hell you don't start Poche' who had plenty of rest for the night game on Monday night? And then start Lange who is coming off plenty of rest for the Tuesday evening game?

Poche would've been going on 4 days rest after pitching in relieve 2 days before that, and then you would've had Lange going on 3 days rest? A MLB first rounder?

Ma

inieri was scared of Springer. Springer is a stud

I know you are a huge fan and all, but who the hell is springer? I'm guessing you meant Singer.

quote:

but LSU did get 2 runs off Springer in the 6th and ended up with more hits than Florida with 9 to their 6 hits. But Florida wins 4-3. No errors. That's on Mainieri. He played not to lose

Sounds like PM made the right decision and still got a pretty good pitching performance from the rest of his staff. Also convenient how you left out the reason he had to make these decisions is because he lost his best starting pitcher 6 days earlier and couldn't throw him against "springer".
quote:

And Chad Jones fell in Mainieri's lap
Other than throwing 1 inning late in game 3 of the CWS final that LSU already had a big lead in, what did he do?
quote:

Yeah Mainieri for the most part is a efficient skipper in the conference. Puts LSU in position for a post season run most seasons. But pissed away 2 nattys: 2013 and 2017
Its clear you don't follow any other teams. If you did, you would see how often Bianco has done this, it's way more often than PM, and he has had some great ball players at Ole Miss. Know who else has pissed away some great teams? Tim Corbin and Kevin O'Sullivan.
quote:

got embarrassed in their own park by Stony brook

Thank god he didn't get embarrassed by Tulane, Utah, or Western Kentucky like Bianco.
quote:

Coastal Carolina that prevented LSU from going to Omaha

The team that won the national title that year?
quote:

I would take Savage at UCLA anyday

Hosted a regional in 2011 and lost to San Francisco and Uc irvine. 2015 lost a regional his team hosted to fricking Maryland...twice. Since his awesome championship run in 2013, he has had 2 years where his team didn't make the tourney at all, 2 years where they didn't host a regional, and only 1 year where they did and lost it to maryland. Thats who you want?
