One thing that I saw was that he often dove at the ball carrier’s knees or at the highest his upper thighs.
I thought he was scared off getting called for targeting or something. He never stick his shoulder pads in the person’s guts or just ran over them with a full speed hit tearing their heads off.
I don’t know if he didn’t want to get a penalty called on him or if he was gun-shy after getting his arse knocked off a few times. Maybe he was trying to make a tackle without taking a hit himself? I don’t know.
What he didn’t do is deliver those hits that LSU safeties are known for. Those hits where a receiver won’t catch another pass after being skull-drug.
The kind of hits where receivers will not cross the middle of the field without being scared to death.
He never made those LaRon Landry kind of massive hits.

How did he not have a great senior year when he’s was only a junior this past year? Clearly you don’t know nothing about these players. Lol

He wasn’t a senior, he was a junior this past season.

I saw that play and was like what kind of angle was he taking on that run? It also convince me that he wasn’t 100% healthy but even while hurt it was a very poor angle!
