It hurts, not being in the student section any more. Even harder for me is missing sitting amongst the trumpet section in the band. Of course, the band no longer sits where it used to when I was a student in the 1980s.
I feel your pain. But, if you have a child that you raise properly as an LSU Tiger, you may one day sit in that student section again as a guest. (And may you be as loud and rambunctious that day as I'm sure you have been as a student.)

I graduated like 4 years ago and I think I've sat outside of the student section maybe twice since then

Enjoy the student section at this point in your life, because as you get older, the students get more and more aggravating. It eventually gets to a point where sitting in the student section is a negative.
