To call out this kids "chest" and questioning his ability to lead is insulting...you can parse it however you want. Calling out kids in public for signing with other programs is BELOW an LSU head football coach. He should have nothing but good wishes for guys like Collins and Kiel. Just because someone (like Kiel) makes a verbal commitment to your program does not mean they owe you anything. It is their future, their decision. When asked about a commitment signing with another program, Les Miles should wish them well even if deep down he doesnt mean it because that is the professional thing to do. Questioning their "chest" is childs play.

And questioning his loyalty and desire to lead our program is completely justifiable and Kiel's actions not only almost cost us landing a quarterback in this class but cost us Patrick Miller. Personally, I would have wished him well and called him a selfish bastard.

I like Miles but it has nothing to do with meaningless coach of the year awards. Hell, Larry Coker won a few of those one year. I like Miles because he represents the university, state very well and has a solid program going. It doesn't mean he is without fault.
