Fing sucks. Way to make the game into a brunch event. Now I’ll have to deal with my family for the rest of the day with a strong buzz.

Has there been any explanation at all for the change in game time?

I am sure it is so that LSU can travel back earlier after the game. If it was 8 p.m., LSU would not get home until very late, although Missouri was going to be in the boat if played in BR.

This was the only potential explanation I’ve seen
Twitter

Not sure if that’s the real reason tho

We now get the same amount of prep time as Florida. It's a good thing, but sucks for the people who might not be able to watch the game.

I think that's great. It's not on schedule but this is next best thing to have least amount of influence on the weeks preparation

I guess that makes sense. Good for our football team, but terrible for the fans in my opinion.

As long as I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to go to it.

This is the part in your proposed explanation that makes it not an explanation

Been a long time since we were the Jefferson Pilot game. Do we still wear out pajamas?

I rather have a game then none at all. Also, I rather play on the road early then a night game.

Missouri may not have lights in that dump of a stadium

As if playing night or even later in the day isn’t better in every possible way? Yeah let’s ignore that.

Well, respectfully, that is a stupid fricking opinion.

We play three-straight road games with the third of them next Saturday afternoon. I bet LSU requested this just to get a few more hours rest before flying to Gainesville.

Chances of getting electricity back in BR are better 8:00 PM than at 11:00AM
