any advice? parking, where to eat, what to do? Also do I need ear plugs for those damn cow bells? I figure they'll be heading for the door early in the third quarter, but two quarters can be a long time.

Pack a lunch, and earplugs. Those cowbells are the most obnoxious thing in SEC football, even ahead of Bama's pompoms. And have a great time..

You gotta watch the team walk down victory hill.
Watch the band shortly after.
Visit Mike's cage.

Oh wait...

Is Ben 612 or whatever it's called still open? That place isn't bad. Restaurant Tyler is good, get the Fried chicken with crawfish sauce. Other than that...there's not much, unless you like to get drunk in a hay field.

Skip Bertman recommends you get a room without a view.

This schtick is so old If you can't have fun at any SEC venue, the venue isn't the issue.

We went two years ago and have been a few times before that. Little Dewey’s BBQ is legit. Go there. The tailgating scene is decent

Ask for a room without a view.

ETA: I see I'm too late. I'll leave this up for shaming purposes.
