Mick, awesome thing you started and the fans embraced. If this thing gets national exposure via ESPN or other media, it might get much bigger.
Is there a particular reason to close it in a few days?

No reason, just that it’s slowing down but we’ll certainly keep it rolling if we get a jolt.

Just a thought, if you choose to shut yours down, perhaps you can link to family/friends one that they plan to keep rolling until November?
Certainly don't want to pull focus from yours, but figured that would be a way to keep donations alive, but relieve you from monitoring it.
Thank you to everyone who has donated!

Looks like 19 donations in the past 13 hours.
I think you should leave it open a little while longer, as long as you're getting a decent number of donations.
I re-shared the GFM on Facebook because not everyone is on all the time and not every friends sees a person's posts timely.

I agree, leave it open a bit longer, maybe until November like the other one. Transfer funds to the bank as planned but still leave open, then transfer last remaining funds once this is closed.

Any idea how I can contact SVP? I don’t use the facebook often. I see page for espn but can’t tell how to send a message to them or specifically SVP

You might try Tom Rinaldi as well. He does the tear jerking stories on Game Day, and this seems right up his ally.

Anybody know anybody with SEC Network. Perhaps it could get a mention on the SEC Game Day program.

I just sent this to SVP's twitter and to SEC Network: "Please do a story on the GoFundMe for the Hagan family." then put in the link to GFM.
Hope it garners some attention.

Only $39 needed for $43K.
Keep on keeping on...

Thank you! I am not sure how to do all those fancy things on the interweb.

I was finally able to donate today. (Had been waiting on a check to come in - the joys of small business ownership.)
Others may be in the same situation. At least give it another week or two. Sometimes even an extra $25 or $50 is hard to budget.

I saw that people are posting from PAPN (pod cast anit played nobody) are submitting funds. That is Bill Connellys podcast. He is an espn CFB analyst who focuses on analytics. If he got word out on his podcast that is a national audience!
