Hard to fault a guy for playing the better QB, particularly when that QB was much better against that opponent.

It is so hard to believe we are still discussing this. I appreciate your effort, but the play JL crowd couldn't be reasoned with then and they can't be reasoned with now.

There was not a right choice then as both quarterbacks were spectacularly average. (Harris and Jennings taught us what bad really looks like). JJ played his best game against Bama and we scored 9. We had to think we had to score more than 9 to win the do over. That was the fatal flaw in Miles and his selection to play JJ exclusively. I really believe he thought we could hold Bama to 10 or less.

I do not think JL wins the game, but I do think we had to see if he could get the offense moving.

But I do understand why JJ was playing.

What has been restored?

O isn’t doing anything Miles didn’t do, with the exception of losing to a team like Troy

OP mentality is why les was here too long and why O probably will be too.

All he had to do was hire the brightest offensive mind and get out of the way. Just recruit, motivate and eat grass and he would still be the coach. But he wanted to be a stubborn duma$$
