All things are relative. If Miles coached at Miss. St. or Vandy he would be up for coach of year honors.

Like I said, uneducated. No perspective. It's an ongoing cycle with people that just do not understand football.
And SEC football at that. We werent "much" better than any of those teams. Get your head out of your arse.
First of all, frick you.
Secondly....nevermind what I said. I forgot who I was trying to reason with.
My mistake

C. Our Def needs work for sure. Other wise another coach would haved faced the same problems. He still has my vote.

A) I have been concerned about Miles all along and the recent meltdown is what i expected

B) His coaching flaws are really starting to be exposed this year specifically...

B) I have been a fan of Miles all along, but the recent issues have me greatly doubting him
This is closest to my feeling except for two words. I don't think the word "recent" is accurate and I'm not "greatly" doubting him.
The major issues are the dc's and the QB. Neither is recent. The dc thing happened last year and I think most of us scratched our heads when we heard it.
The failure to have some sort of experienced QB available in case RP crapped out goes back I think all the way to Saban and continued with Miles. (Someone posted a great thread of the QB's they signed for each of the last few years)
I still like Miles and it would be great to see him have continued success. Remains to be seen if he will.

yOu said Miles sucks after winning a national title? or Sugar Bowl over ND? or Peach Bowl rout of Miami?

D - Miles won me over after the Hurricane Season and how he put the community first; then, continued the success into Years 2 & 3, culminating in a NC Ring, and showing loyalty to his senior leaders (Flynn and Hester, namely) over many Rantards who pushed for RP and KW....
Miles found out that loyalty and continuity did not make for the same outcome this year....too many lost "stars and leaders" from last year made for a "hollow group"......
Miles needs to make the coaching changes (no matter who's at fault for this past year) if, for no other reason, the fanbase and players will second guess his every move next year if he doesn't make the change. Miles doesn't need that pressure, and neither do the players. I will be disappointed if Miles doesn't admit mistakes and make the changes.

quote:YES. go look at my prior posts. I have not been a fan of the guy for a long time and been banned several times b/c of opinions about the guy. Was I happy we won those bowl games? Yes. Did they change my opinion of Miles? No.

D- I was not sold on Les in the beginning but now know he is a good HC. I also know what an embarrassment fans that post threads like this are to my Alma Mater.

D) I have been a fan of Miles all along, but acknowledge that there is a lot of work for him to get us back in the right direction. But also have faith that he is the right man for the job and will have things corrected next season.

There's your answer. Well said.
