Given the Choice, if we could get Will Muschamp as LSU's DC....

Would you rather bring him back (assuming the continued implosion by Florida) or would you stick with the Chief?

Personally, I'd like Muschamp as our DC.

What's the Rant think?

I prefer Chief but I guess it depends on how many years he has left. If you told me we could have muschamp for 10-15 years, I would probably lean his direction.

can't go wrong with either, but damn, that would be a tough choice to make, imo.

Agreed!

I guess the thing for me is that Muschamp is younger and appears to be a stronger recruiter.

Ridiculous question, go back and look at Muschamps stats as DC at Texas. You want that?

Saban was calling the D when Mussy was here so you can go follow Florida if you're a Mussy fan.

Chief.

Muschamp can go reunite with former Saban assistants at Toledo or something.

Realistically, I fear him going to a FSU, Stanford, etc.

By the way, I think it's Chief's somewhat invisible role in recruiting that tilts the scales for me. Muschamp isn't a slouch in that dept however. But his reputation is on the line, and that's a "risk" in recruiting.

Chavis by a mile. The success he's had here is almost surreal once you consider the talent he's put in the league.
